Update: We now know my name is Abigail and my owner got ill and had to go to a nursing home and I was set out by a relative who did not want to mess with her. We also know she is actually a Boxer/ Lhasa Apso mix and are now trying to find her a forever home. I can not keep her as I have far too many dogs for the city code with her unless I get a breeders license and still I am in the city.
She is a wonderful dog located in Indiana so if anyone reads this and has any suggestions we would be very open to any alternatives. She deserves a forever home and I find it amazing that she found her way to my home now that I know where she lived. She had to have crossed a busy highway and walked a few miles.
In the meantime we will try to just keep her here until we can find her a home where she can be loved the way she deserves.
Hi, My name is ? but I am going by Beauty right now because this lady who took me in yesterday out of the storm said I am a beauty because I rescued her.
I was hot and tired and wandering around and saw water on her porch and was getting a drink. She didn't seem to mind as she was planting in the front of her house. It got very windy and a storm came up fast. She was picking up her stuff on the side walk when a loud crack sound happened and I jumped off the porch just as her neighbor yelled at her and I knocked her into the grass and this part of the tree came down where she was standing.
They looked at my collar but there are no tags on it but she says it is obvious I have been well cared for as my nails are clipped and shinny and my teeth are very white as I have a beautiful smile. You don't always see my smile as my jowls hang down but it is there. I am very gentle and I am lost.
She said one good turn deserves another and has taken me in to try to find where I belong. She has other very tiny dogs that look like hot dogs so they are staying in their room while she tries to find where I belong.
Can you help me find my way, she called the newspaper to place an ad for me but she is not sure what type of dog I am. I am house broke and she discovered when she put me on a leash to take me for a walk that I know the commands heel, forward, and stop. She says if she could put the right type of dog in an ad and make calls knowing what type of dog I might be she may have some success.
I am in Indiana but she is not sure that this is where I am actually from as I do not seem to recognize my immediate area. I was not seen in the neighborhood until around the 3rd or 4th of July and I am close to a hospital. If you know me will you contact her so I can find my way home or if you know what breed I am this would help too. I want to get home but at least I am out of the storm which scared me and those fireworks scared me too but she helped comfort me.
I hope someone will see this and tell my master I am looking for him or her and I want to come homeeeeee!

Beauty with no name is actually Abigail and now I am faced with finding her a home as her master can not have her back as she is now in nursing home. How awful to be homeless, lost and now unwanted with no concern to finding her a new home. I understand the circumstance but feel some effort should have been made to give her another forever home as she is too sweet to go through this.
Being use to only small dogs I am discovering she eats more than they do and still at a lost of what to do other than try to place her in a forever home, feed her, and give her lots of love so she does not feel too lonely. She is in the state of Indiana so if anyone looking at her pictures might know of someone who can help her please pass it along.
Today she got her own dog bed which she loves and dish which will go with her. She visited the vet to find out she is basically healthy but has caught a bad cold from being out in the rain and elements and is taking an antibiotic for her safety.

Hi, I am Abigail and I have gotten two contacts about the possibility of giving me a forever home and I am so excited. I might meet one of them this weekend and I hope I will like them. My friend I am staying with says I need to be picky so I will not have to go through this again.
We went to visit the vet to discover I am pretty good except for a bad cold which is getting better now that I am out of the rain. I tested negative for heart worms and have started prevention medicine and I even get this stuff put on to keep me from having fleas. Wow! I never knew life could be so good. When this lady found out my last few months had been on two heavy chains she got angry as this is how they suspect my ear got scraped but it is healing nicely as well.
I got a bath and it made my fur just shine a pretty reddish color so now I hold up my head proudly. My favorite moments are getting a treat and petted. I just love to be loved. Please keep me in your prayers that I find that special someone who will love me forever and give me the home that this lady says I deserve. She said I am a very good girl and easy to love.
Abigail formely the dog with no name.
