He wanted to come up onto the small bed with me and his sister Helga, but no room. He left the room, returned with a cookie which he placed on the floor in front of the bed. He then "left the room". Helga sat up on the bed, and finally could wait no longer to get the cookie. As Helga leaped from the bed, Thor came tearing into the room, sliding on the hardwood floor, grabbing the cookie, and jumped into the bed, all before Helga could figure out what had happened.
She sat looking at him, while he slowly ate the cookie, her head cocked to one side, stunned that Thor, the stupid dog she had always bested, got the best of her.
