Spike is a white RAT TERRIER with brown spots. He was originally a foster from The Lee County Animal Shelter. I got him in June 2006. He was fiesty and scrawny when I met him. When I would clean the dog kennels at the shelter, I would let Spike out to run around, he made it his business to go to every kennell and bark at the other dogs. He was always getting beat up, so, I took him home one day. I never gave him back. Eventhough he has bitten me so many times, that I can't count, I still love him. He was just misunderstood. I realized that he was either not socialized properly, didn't get enough stimulation or was just neglected his first year of life.

Spike can jump 2 feet off the ground without a running start. He bounces like a ball. This may explain how he injured his paw 2 weeks ago.

I purchased Rumor in Beaufort, SC 5 years ago. She will be 5 years old on January 19. I loved her from the first moment I saw her. She is calm, mild mannered, loyal and picky. Rumor is a ""Boston Terrier"". I didn't know it then, but she is the best breed for me. She is my companion. She naps when I nap, I love it!

The first time she passed gas, she looked back at her butt to find out where the noise was coming from. She did not know it was her.

I recieved Rumor when she was 5 weeks old. She was my first puppy, so I did not know that she needed to stay with her liter until she was 7 weeks old. I now realize that the owner was rushing the liter out to homes. Five weeks was too soon. Luckily, I knew a dog trainer that told me I needed to feed her 3 times a day. I don't remember if she chewed her food. I'm sure she did.

I adopted Storm from The Beaufort County Animal Shelter 6 years ago. It was an impulse adoption, but I am glad to have her. She is still not house trained. I believe she was trained to potty on puppy pads. I have to drag her outside for her to potty. I still love her.

When Storm chases balls, she has the habit of stopping on her front paws. She stops so quickly that her rear will tip up, because she stops so abruptly on her front paws. She almost looks as though she is going to turn over.
