Jules

Running around,

anything people eat

very fast runner

This sweet little girl was handed to me by a passing car. I registered her with all the agencies, but no one came to claim her.

She loves to run on the golf course - she's a very quick runner despite having disjointed knees. A real social butterfly, she gets treats from all the neighbors, and freely gives kisses to all who want them.

Anything

Moose was turned in to the pound by his owners who claimed he was a biter. He was immediately released to our custody, and delivered to my home for foster care.

Within the hour he had made himself comfortable in my bed, and was making it quite clear he wanted no part of a kennel to sleep in. Since he had been an only dog, he didn't understand how to play with other dogs, but these days, he plays with my two wherever possible.

When I received him, I took him down to the park for a walk, and the very first person who saw him commented on how beautiful he was. I picked him up, held him close, and tears flowed down his face. He's a very sweet little boy, and I was able to rehome him very quickly with some friends down the block. To this day, years later, he still stops at the entrance to my place to see if Snickers and I are home.He has never bite anyone since his rescue.

Reina

Running around,

plays with the cat

anything worth hovering

Reina was neglected by her owner, and came to me for fostering with a skin condition. Most of the fur on her neck and check was gone. She quickly teased Sinckers into playing around, and the two of them bonded quickly. Now that's she's in her new home, her fur has returned, and she's happier than ever running around Catalina Island.Reina is the happy dog resting in the sun (on the left).
