Homer was an abandoned stray I came upon today when riding county roads in my county. He is badly malnourished. I called the local sheriff's department and they told me there was nothing they could do. I ended up feeling sorry for this puppy and took him home with me. I have gave him treatment for fleas and ticks and also gave him wormer and three nice meals today. I plan to have him checked for heartworms and get him started on prevention right away. Of course, he will have to have his shots. I love him already!
