Fireworks, Thunder

Bell peppers or carrots

He howls like a wolf, head back and all

Buster was 18 months old when we adopted him from Animal Rescue. He was 5 lbs and bony. He'd been rescued from a well-meaning woman who had a yard full of big dogs; she fed them dry, big nugget dog food and his little mouth couldn't crack them. He only got the crumbs and was starving and malnourish.

When he started howling back at a stuffed wolf pup we got from World Wildlife Fund. He's been howling ever since.

Don't know where he was born, but probably somewhere in Pennsylvania, as he ended up in a foster home of an employee of Animal Rescue, Inc, in New Freedom, PA

Lizzie

Nothing. She's blind as a bat now and pretty much deaf

Anything. This dog has nearly no teeth and eats ANYthing

Sleep,At her age, she does very well to go out for walks with the other 2

She and her son, Taylor, were being kept in crates in an unheated garage in a suburb of Baltimore. Given grooming and vet care, but not permitted in the house (evil 2nd husband), they were miserable. The groomer had them rescued and we got them.

She bounces up and down after coming into the house from a walk. So full of herself, she's like a puppy although she's 17 now.

As a puppy, she was bought from a breeder for the daughter of a family going thru divorce. Daughter grew up, moved out, left her behind. By then she'd had a litter and her son, Taylor, was with her. Mother asked daughter to take them, but she refused. Happily, we got them both at ages 10 and 15.

Thunder and fireworks

Lay on the ground,

Rescued with Mama Lizzie by their groomer, who noticed they were licking their fur compulsively as they were crated nearly 24/7, except for 2 walks and 1 feeding a day. We got Taylor at age 15, and he's nearly blind now.

Every day, this dog makes us laugh. He is not the prettiest dog (what an underbite on this one) but is hilarious just finding his squeak toys when they aren't moving. Won't chase any varmints like squirrels, either, who just laugh at him.

Five years after his mama was adopted by a newly divorced mom for her teenager, Taylor was born. Daughter grew up, moved out, and Taylor and Lizzie were discarded into the garage, kept in crates most of the time. Rescued by their groomer, we got them at ages 10 and 15.
