I'm always looking to find places where i can share pictures of my boys and ideas about the BSL bs that all the state and local governments are trying to pass. I fight this for many reasons, mainly because i want the breed that is target by this discriminatory law to be able to survive!!! I do not want children and families broken up and heart broken because their family member(s) are going to be taken away and killed just because what they look like. I'm a firm believer that it is the owner not the dog!!!!! I also believe that animals pick up our attitudes and behaviors, so to translate: If you are a hater of any kind, your dog will sense it and behave the way you do. Dogs are like children, they see you behave a certain way and they themselves will behave that way. They learn from us!!!
I want stiffer laws for individuals that think that abusing a dog, fighting them, tethering them (the ones 24/7) starved to death, thrown out of a moving car, thrown out of a balcony, hanged, tied up and thrown into a river, canal, just animal abusers period should pay the ultimate price. So many studies have shown that the ones that do this to animals also do it people, and children. Some become serial killers, some rapists and the list goes on and on. Lets all get together and fight all of this, i know sometimes its easier to just not think about it because it hurts so much but we have to.
On a brighter note, i am so glad that i find more and more sites that have animal lovers on them, i like to see more. I'm also one to TRY to change anyone's mind when it comes to Pit Bulls, i know its a general term. Please lets all of us get together and fight the media on their constant negative reporting on Pit Bulls.
