We got Foolish at the local ASPCA. I just couldn't believe someone would throw away such a loving boy. He came with tons of energy and an amazing capacity to love everyone. At 18 months old my youngest son became seriously ill. Foolish instictively felt the need to comfort him. He never left his side. I think his love encoraged a speedy recovery. Now they're both 7 years old and best friends.
