My brother Teddy died last weekend and I am very sad and lonely. I do not want to go outside and play as the backyard is too quiet now. I do not want to eat my food either and my mom is worried about me. She is trying to find me a new brother. I don't know if I will like that as it will not be the same as Teddy. Teddy was a great older brother. But my mom thinks it will be good for me and she promises to always love me best of all. She is looking for a small dog - my size and he has to be about my age ( I am seven) and he has to like cats because there are three of them here. I am not crazy about them but i leave them alone and they leave me alone. Sometimes one of them will sit next to me and that is okay too as long as they don't try to share mom's lap at the same time as me.
