My master says that he is realizing what it is like to own a Brittany. We are bred bird dogs and pointers, and that gift is amazing. He says I am a great companion. We are either handsome or beautiful animals depending on how you see the world. We do come with teeth and sharp and fast growing nails. In fact I can cup my paws and nails so well that no bird could ever excape my grasp when I get a paw on 'em. I don't bite on purpose, but had more trouble with chewing things like my master's new furniture. He installed a gate to help keep me away from the tasty pieces of table legs and material on his new couch during the day, so that took care of that. When he jumps in the pool, I run in the house because I'm scared he'll want to teach me how to swim. I'm otherwise assertive and intelligent, and already know how to get him up in the middle of the night to let me outside, and how to point my way to the kitchen cabinet where he keeps my food and treats.
